Robert Mugabe, president of Zimbabwe and currently under US and EU travel bans for alleged human rights abuses in Zimbabwe, has just been invited to be a "Global leader in tourism" by the UN World Tourism Office (UNWTO). This decision has been criticised by other UN members, and Canada has immediately withdrawn from the UNWTO. Should Mugabe have been invited to be a leader for tourism?
