Founded in 1946, SAS Scandinavian Airlines is the national airline of Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Their fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft operates on both domestic and international routes, covering 90 destinations. Within Scandinavia, the airline operates services to the capital cities Oslo, Stockholm, and Copenhagen, as well as many smaller airports.
The airline flies to a range of European countries, including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. In recent years, flights to Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, and Poland have been introduced. More remote destinations are Longyearbyen on the island of Spitsbergen, in the Arctic Sea, and Reykjavik, the Icelandic capital. International flights serve destinations in Russia, the USA, China, and Japan.
