Continental Airlines

Continental Airlines was founded in Texas in 1934. Initially, the airline only served domestic destinations in the southwest of the United States, although by the 1970s it had expanded its network to include international destinations in Japan, Australia, and some Pacific islands. Nowadays, Continental Airlines serves over 140 international destinations in addition to its its domestic routes. Following a merger with United Airlines, Continental links the United States with Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Continental Airlines has been at the forefront of the aviation industry thanks to its continued effort to reduce its carbon footprint without sacrificing safety, performance, and service standards. As a result, Continental Airlines has been listed as the most admired global airline and has received several prestigious excellence awards in categories like best economy class experience, leadership, innovation, value for money, and eco-aviation.
