Formed as a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, Scoot is a low-cost operator of long haul flights, mainly in the Pacific and Australasian region. It was established in 2012 and has already earned a reputation for its no-nonsense, economical services.

Scoot's 15 primary destinations include major cities in Japan, Australia, China and Taiwan, together with selected other cities across the region. By 2016 it will have expanded to a fleet of 16 aircraft, almost double its initial size. Ultimately it plans to be the first airline offering an exclusively Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.

Scoot is based around providing great customer service, and offers refunds and vouchers for any problems experienced before or during flight. Its ethos is to put the customer first, and provide a relaxed and value for money service.
