AirAsia AirAsia Airlines

Since its establishment back in 1996, Air Asia has been touted as one of the world's top low cost airlines. This budget airline has its operational base in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), from where it serves over 100 short and long-haul destinations between all South East Asian countries, Japan, Korea, Australia, the Indian subcontinent, and the Middle East.

In order to cover its vast range of destinations efficiently, Air Asia has nine subsidiaries that operate from secondary hubs in Thailand, the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, and India. Thanks to its low fares and outstanding value for money, the airline certainly lives up to its slogan (“Now Everyone Can Fly”). Over the past few years, Air Asia has received an impressive number of awards, including the World's Best Low Cost Airline for 6 consecutive years, the Best Asian Low Cost Carrier, and the Airline of the Year award.
